A complete meal, not a compromise. Rice bowls from ₹169.
Eating well for under two hundred rupees usually means accepting a trade. Either the portion is small, or the quality drops, or you end up ordering three things to make a meal and the total quietly climbs past four hundred.
A rice bowl solves that arithmetic. One price, one box, and everything you need inside it — steamed basmati, a full ladle of gravy, salad and pickle. Five of our seven bowls sit under ₹200, and none of them need a side order to become a proper lunch.
The obvious question about a ₹169 meal is what has been cut to reach that price. In our case, the answer is the portion size and nothing else. These bowls come out of the same kitchen, using the same gravies, as the dishes we serve in a dining room rated 4.8 stars across 95+ Google reviews.
The Dal Makhani in the bowl is simmered overnight, exactly as it is for the restaurant plate. The rajma is the same Kashmiri rajma. We did not write a second, cheaper recipe for the value menu — we just serve one person's worth instead of three.
If you are eating with someone, two bowls come in under ₹400 and give you two complete meals with no sharing and no leftovers. For a family dinner or a celebration, our full menu is the better route — but for an ordinary weekday, two bowls is hard to beat.
